Lucia Hicks-Williams



With more than thirty years of experience in the business of technology, Lucia Hicks-Williams is the founder and president of Get UP Business Development Services in Oakland, California. Throughout her career, Ms. Hicks-Williams has demonstrated expertise in marketing software, hardware, and communications offerings as real products and services for real customers.

Lucia has served in executive positions at product developers including Splunk, Symphony Talent, and ServiceSource. She leads diverse functions including products, user experience, quality engineering, professional and data services, marketing, and product management. 

An experienced consultant, Ms. Hicks-Williams also served as partner and chief operating officer at San Francisco Consulting Group (SFCG). Her hallmark is collaborating with clients to drive successful product development, marketing, and delivery initiatives.

Prior to SFCG, Lucia held executive positions with General Magic, Inc.; Sybase, Inc.; Sun Microsystems; and 3Com Corporation. Her commitment to social growth is evident in her nonprofit work with the Haight-Ashbury Medical Clinic, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, Youth Speaks, and Intersection for the Arts.

Today, Ms. Hicks-Williams focuses on increasing social capital, company revenues, and valuation of business units with clients across the globe.
